The purpose of the Imaging Receptionist/Scheduler is to assist the imaging department in scheduling, checking in patients, answering telephones, and any other clerical/administrative tasks that may need to be performed.
This position is in the imaging department of a busy oncology/hematology clinic. Direct patient care is required to do work assigned such as checking in patients, verifying insurance, and scheduling appointments.
This position requires that the employee be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for up to eight hours a day. This position also requires a great deal of telephone work in order to complete tasks.
This position is not a supervisory position. We are looking for compassionate, adaptable individuals who demonstrate the desire to lead and work together to best treat the patients we serve.
