Job summary

Riceland Medical Center in Winnie, TX seeks a Physician Relations Liaison to build community relationships, raise awareness of services, and strengthen referral pipelines across hospital and outpatient lines.

The role requires 3–5 years in physician relations or healthcare marketing, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and full-time in-person work with occasional weekend events. You will collaborate with the broader liaison team to expand regional reach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Admin, Healthcare Admin, Public Health, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in physician relations, healthcare marketing, or business development.
• Experience with hospitals, physician practices, or medical groups preferred.
• Experience developing referral networks and community partnerships desirable.
• Ability to work full-time with occasional weekend event support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for local clinics, physician practices, EMS/emergency responders, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities.
• Actively promote primary care, emergency, inpatient, behavioral health, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging services.
• Maintain continuous engagement through in-person visits, informal check-ins, and structured outreach efforts.
• Engage with Hospital District leadership, community organizations, local employers, and business leaders.
• Coordinate strategic meetings between leadership and external stakeholders for regional partnerships.
• Represent Riceland Healthcare at community events, lunch-and-learns, and provider engagement sessions.
• Maintain awareness of patient transitions across service lines and notify relevant departments for continuity of care.
