Job summary

Assurgent Medical Staffing is seeking a Permanent Placement Physician Recruiter to connect top physician talent with healthcare organizations nationwide. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle—from sourcing and engaging physicians to negotiating offers and closing placements.

You’ll build a robust pipeline, develop strong relationships with clients and candidates, and use ATS/CRM systems to track activity and achieve production and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting, staffing, or sales experience (healthcare recruiting preferred).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build trust and close deals.
• Self-starter with a competitive, goal-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit physicians and advanced practice providers for permanent positions.
• Proactively build a pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital sourcing tools.
• Develop strong relationships with physicians, healthcare organizations, and hiring managers.
• Conduct detailed candidate assessments to ensure clinical and cultural fit.
• Track activity and performance using ATS/CRM systems.
• Meet and exceed individual production and revenue goals.
