Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Primary Care Physician for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Ocean Shores, Washington. The role includes outpatient family medicine in a community health setting and requires active WA license and DEA.

You will manage a high-volume patient load, document in EPIC, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Credentialing and travel support provided; board certification and vaccinations up to date.

Qualifications

• Maintain active Washington State medical license and WA DEA.
• Board certification required.
• BLS/ACLS certifications as determined during credentialing.
• Spanish or Russian language skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide family practice outpatient ambulatory care in a community health center setting.
• See up to 21 patients per day in a high-volume environment.
• Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics.
• Deliver care to vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees.
• Provide outpatient ambulatory services including family medicine and chronic disease management.
• Manage same-day walk-in patients as needed.
• Perform injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation.
• Collaborate with support staff including MAs, receptionists, therapists, and dietitians.
• Complete onsite orientation and begin patient care by day 3.

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $105 - $113/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a temporary assignment in Ocean Shores, Washington. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Primary Care Physician:

• Provide family practice outpatient ambulatory care services in a community health center setting
• See up to 21 patients per day in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Care for a broad patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Deliver care to vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees
• Provide outpatient ambulatory services including family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management
• Manage same-day walk-in patients as needed
• Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for clinical documentation
• Collaborate with dedicated support staff including medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, and dietitians
• Complete onsite orientation and be prepared to begin patient care by day 3
• Maintain active Washington State medical license and active Washington State DEA
• Maintain board certification
• Obtain and maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) as determined during credentialing
• Maintain current COVID and flu vaccination status
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Spanish or Russian language skills preferred but not required
