Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a temporary assignment in Ketchikan, Alaska. This locum tenens role runs for 13 weeks with the potential to extend, offering a predictable Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule and competitive hourly pay.

The physician will provide outpatient Family Medicine services, perform common procedures, and operate within Epic EMR. BLS certification and active state licensure are required, with credentialing and privileges supported

Qualifications

• Provide outpatient Family Medicine services as an MD in a clinic setting.
• See an average of 16-18 patients per day across all age groups.
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Perform procedures including skin excisions/punch biopsies, Nexplanon & IUD insertions, cryotherapy, and toenail evulsions.
• Maintain current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (no exemptions).
• Maintain state licensure and meet credentialing and privileging requirements.
• Hold clinic and hospital privileges as required.
• No call, rounding, or admissions required.

• No call, rounding, or admissions required.
