Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Aberdeen, Washington. The physician will perform outpatient Family Medicine in a Community Health Center, see up to 21 patients daily, and care for all ages.

The role requires EPIC EMR proficiency, state licensure, DEA, board certification, and BLS/ACLS. Location is Aberdeen, with Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Outpatient Family Medicine in a community health setting.
• See up to 21 patients per day in a high-volume environment.
• Care for patients from newborns to geriatrics.
• Provide walk-in/acute care and same-day services as needed.
• Manage chronic diseases for assigned population.
• Perform injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family Practice/Family Medicine outpatient ambulatory care services.
• See up to 21 patients per day in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics.
• Provide walk-in/acute care services and same-day patient care as needed.
• Manage chronic disease conditions for assigned patient population.
• Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care.
• Work with vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees, utilizing interpretive services.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for all clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with medical team (MA, receptionist, therapists, dietitians, onsite pediatrician).
• Submit timecards to local healthcare administrator.
• Complete onsite orientation and begin direct patient care by day 3.
• Maintain state licensure, DEA, board certification, and required vaccines.

Pay Rate: $105 - $113/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a temporary assignment in Aberdeen, Washington. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Primary Care Physician:

• Provide Family Practice/Family Medicine outpatient ambulatory care services in a Community Health Center setting
• See up to 21 patients per day in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics
• Provide walk-in/acute care services and same-day patient care as needed
• Manage chronic disease conditions for assigned patient population
• Perform basic procedures including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
• Work with vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees, utilizing onsite interpretive services as needed
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for all clinical documentation
• Collaborate with dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, and onsite pediatrician
• Submit timecards to local healthcare administrator
• Complete onsite orientation during the first week and begin direct patient care by day 3
• Maintain active Washington State license and active Washington State DEA
• Maintain Board Certification
• Obtain and maintain required certifications including BLS and ACLS
• Maintain current COVID and flu vaccinations
• Adhere to productivity expectations of up to 21 patients per shift for physician roles
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Spanish or Russian language skills preferred but not required
