Astrya Global Medical Staffing is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Clinic hours typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extension options. You will provide outpatient Family Medicine services and manage a panel with diverse age groups.

Expect a fast-paced clinic with 18–22 daily patients, a heavy geriatric population, and collaboration with a 1:1 support staff. BLS is required; ACLS preferred; Wisconsin license required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine.
• Wisconsin medical license (IMLC accepted).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practice Family Medicine in an outpatient primary care clinic setting.
• See an average of 18–22 patients per day across all ages, with a geriatric emphasis.
• Manage patients with chronic conditions (diabetes, heart disease, multiple comorbidities).
• Perform standard primary care procedures and manage multiple comorbidities.
• Work Monday–Friday, 4–5 days per week; shifts 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible).
• Participate in Doctor of the Day duties; triaged patient calls during business hours.
• Use Epic EMR for all charting and documentation.
• Collaborate with 1:1 clinical support staff (MA/LPN/RN).
• Maintain Wisconsin state medical license (IMLC accepted).
• COVID-19 vaccination compliance; medical/religious exemptions only.
• No after-hours call or hospital rounding.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Primary Care Physician for a temporary assignment in Baraboo, Wisconsin. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Primary Care Physician:

• Practice Family Medicine in an outpatient primary care clinic setting
• See an average of 18–22 patients per day across all age groups, with a heavy geriatric population and a mix of middle-aged and younger adults
• Manage patients with complex chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and multiple comorbidities
• Perform standard primary care clinic procedures and manage patients with multiple comorbidities
• Work Monday–Friday, 4–5 days per week, with shift times of 8:30 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible)
• Participate in Doctor of the Day (DOD) responsibilities, addressing patient calls during business hours as triaged by nursing staff
• Utilize Epic EMR for all charting and documentation
• Work collaboratively with a 1:1 clinical support staff ratio (MA, LPN, or RN)
• Maintain valid Wisconsin state medical license (IMLC accepted)
• Maintain current BLS certification (required) and ACLS certification (preferred)
• Hold Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions only)
• No after-hours call or hospital rounding required
