Job summary

Health Solutions is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician in Colorado to deliver comprehensive primary care for all ages, including preventive services and chronic care management. Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice medicine in Colorado (MD/DO).
  • Board-eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine preferred.
  • Current DEA certificate and CPR/ACLS within 3–12 months where appropriate.
  • Must be insurable under company-provided malpractice coverage.
  • Strong computer proficiency and ability to maintain electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations across all ages (history, exam, risk assessments).
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide preventive care, wellness visits, vaccinations, screenings and routine checkups.
  • Coordinate care across specialties and healthcare settings; ensure compliant documentation.
  • Maintain accurate EMRs and participate in quality, billing, and productivity initiatives.

With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.We’re expanding and hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician to work at our Perry Hall location. Signing bonus available!What You’ll Be DoingAs a provider the full scope of primary care services which fall under primary care of adult and pediatric populations, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance for this population. In addition, a Primary Care Physician is a member of the Health Solutions Medical Services Team. In that capacity they are expected to be familiar with the philosophy, goals and objectives of the Medical Center and work collaboratively to achieve them. They must be cognizant of, and comply with, all Center policies and procedures, as well as pertinent state and federal regulations.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Primary Care Physician under the supervision of the Director and Supervisor, you will:Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical exams, and health-risk assessments for all age groups.Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood work, imaging, EKGs, urinalysis) to support accurate diagnoses.Diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions (e.g., infections, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, COPD).Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications, therapies, or other interventions as appropriate.Provide preventive care, including wellness visits, vaccinations, screenings, and routine check-ups.Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy habits, and self-care strategies.Refer patients to specialists when advanced diagnostics or higher-level care are required.Coordinate care across specialties and healthcare settings to advocate for patients.Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation supporting medical necessity, risk adjustment, quality metrics, and compliant billing; collaborate with billing and quality teams as needed.Meet productivity, patient access, and panel management benchmarks aligned with organizational and payer requirements.Adhere to confidentiality standards and medical ethics guidelines.Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice.Participate in acute care situations and practice protocols (e.g., urgent triage).Collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure high-quality care.Contribute to clinic management tasks, quality initiatives, and workflow optimization.Engage in continuous improvement and data-driven initiatives to enhance patient experience, outcomes, and operational efficiency.Deliver care in accordance with evidence-based guidelines, clinical protocols, and payer standards; participate in quality reporting and performance improvement activities.Stay current with medical research and guidelines in family practice through continuing education and integration of evidence-based care.What You’ll Like About UsCompetitive pay $240,000 or as determined by experience and credentials.
