Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a qualified Primary Care Physician for a 13-week assignment in Maine. The role focuses on ambulatory care with Monday–Friday days, 6–8 patient hours and ~2 hours admin tasks, handling acute and chronic visits, wellness exams, and post-discharge follow-ups.

Candidates must be board-certified in family medicine, hold an active Maine license, be credentialed, and able to manage in-basket tasks; EPIC experience preferred; references required; no weekend or on-call duties;

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory primary care services.
• See patients for acute and chronic conditions, annual wellness visits, and post-hospitalization follow-ups.
• Manage in-basket tasks including refills, advice requests, testing follow-ups, results, and referrals.
• Schedule consists of 6 to 8 patient-facing hours and ~2 hours of administrative in-basket work per day.
• There is no weekend coverage or call coverage.
• The practice may involve working out of multiple primary care offices and features a strong physician support team.

Description:We are in need of a Primary Care Physician for Monday to Friday coverage.The role involves providing ambulatory primary care services.You will see patients for acute and chronic conditions, annual wellness visits, and post-hospitalization follow-ups.You will manage in-basket tasks including refills, advice requests, testing follow-ups, results, and referrals.The ideal candidate is IM or FP trained.No specific procedures are required; typical ambulatory primary care visits and inbox management are expected.The schedule consists of 6 to 8 patient-facing hours and approximately 2 additional hours of administrative in-basket work per day.A 30-minute unpaid lunch break is included.There is no weekend coverage or call coverage required.The practice size includes around 12 physicians and 15 advanced practice providers.This position may require working out of multiple primary care offices.The practice environment is characterized by a strong team that offers excellent physician support.The contract length is a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extending to 6 to 9 months.This position is primarily focused on adult patient demographics.The expected patient census is at least 16 visits per day.
