Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Primary Care Physician for locum tenens support in Newark, New Jersey. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with start ASAP and a duration of about five months, treating ambulatory/outpatient cases with Epic EMR.

Typical schedule Monday–Friday; board-certified in Internal Medicine; 18–22 patients per day; malpractice insurance arranged by AMN and travel/lodging support provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Ambulatory/outpatient practice experience.
• Evidence of ability to manage 18–22 patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in ambulatory/outpatient settings.
• Coordinate care and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR.
