Job summary

State of Franklin Healthcare Associates, a physician-led multi-specialty care group headquartered in Johnson City, TN, seeks a physician to provide medical care and supervise PA/NPs in a collaborative environment.

You will obtain histories, perform exams, order tests, diagnose and treat, educate patients, and coordinate referrals while upholding CME requirements and best practice guidelines. Based in upper East Tennessee, the role offers a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completed residency.
• Board eligibility or board certification with valid Tennessee medical license.
• DEA certificate and malpractice insurance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Request/evaluate lab tests; diagnose, direct treatment and educate staff.
• Prescribe medication in accordance with state statutes and guidelines.
• Arrange referrals for services not offered within the practice.
• Supervise mid-level practitioners (PA and NP).
