Job summary

State of Franklin Healthcare Associates in Johnson City, TN seeks a physician to join our physician-led, team member-owned multi-specialty care group. You will obtain health histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose and direct treatment, and supervise mid-level practitioners in a supportive environment.

This full-time role requires an MD or DO with residency, board eligibility or certification, and TN license.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO and completed residency; board eligible or board certified; TN medical license.
• DEA certificate and malpractice insurability.
• Authorized to provide medical services on behalf of insurers, employers and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical examinations.
• Request/evaluate lab tests; diagnose, direct treatment and instruct staff.
• Arrange referrals for services not offered within the practice.
• Educate patients and families on medication and treatment instructions.
• Document activities/interventions, patient responses, and medications dispensed.
