Job summary

Montage Health is seeking a Peer Review and Professional Practice Evaluation Coordinator to support physician peer review, OPPE, and FPPE processes. This role ensures evaluations are confidential, compliant, and timely, collaborating with medical staff leadership and quality teams.

You will review clinical information, track requirements, and prepare reports to aid provider performance assessment and patient safety initiatives. The position requires a full-time onsite presence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate physician peer review activities, including case intake, tracking, committee preparation, follow-up, and documentation.
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records for peer review and professional practice evaluation.
• Assist in development and reporting of OPPE metrics and provider quality profiles.
• Prepare OPPE/FPPE reports, dashboards, and summary documents for medical staff leaders.
• Coordinate peer review committee meetings with agendas, case materials, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate data entry in credentialing, privileging, quality, or peer review systems.
• Stay current with Medical Staff Bylaws, policies, Joint Commission standards, CMS requirements, and state/federal regulations.
• Collaborate with department chairs and leaders to collect and report provider performance data.
• Track cases referred for peer review from various sources and analyze for trends.
• Support accreditation readiness by maintaining complete peer review documentation.
• Provide education and guidance on OPPE, FPPE, and peer review processes.
• Contribute to policy/procedure development and ongoing process improvement.
• Maintain professional communication with providers and stakeholders.
• Support a culture of quality and patient safety.
