Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Professional Practice Evaluation Specialist to support patient safety, quality, and peer review by coordinating review activities, maintaining records, and ensuring timely communication and follow through related to safety events.

This role collaborates with the Medical Staff Office, quality, safety, legal and operational teams to support peer review governance, identify system-level safety opportunities, and advance a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 2 years healthcare experience including participation in quality and safety committees, project work, or investigation of safety events.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate review activities, maintain records, and ensure timely communication related to safety events and peer review.
• Support peer review governance with medical staff leadership and MSO, identifying system-level safety opportunities.
