Job Summary

The Pediatric Rheumatology Department of the Janet Weis Children's Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist. Our collegial group is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to children in central and northeast Pennsylvania. The Janet Weis Children's Hospital is the tertiary care Pediatric Center for Geisinger Health System, recognized nationally for innovative healthcare approaches. The successful candidate will be involved in clinical care and teaching pediatric residents and medical students. Geisinger offers an intellectually stimulating environment, including the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, PA, emphasizing active learning, clinical experiences, and community engagement.

Job Duties

1. Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
2. Shared call responsibilities among physicians
3. AI dictation
4. Work in a 41-bed NICU and 14-bed PICU
5. Provide consultative services in the Children's Hospital
