Job summary

Complete Health is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our outpatient practice in Birmingham, Alabama. This physician-led, value-based care environment emphasizes patient-centered care and team collaboration.

In this role, you will work Monday–Friday to manage preventive care and chronic diseases, supported by Athena EMR, with a competitive base salary and relocation/sign-on incentives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (FM or IM).
• Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain before start).
• Commitment to practicing value-based, patient-centered primary care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model.

• Provide outpatient primary care to adult patients.

EDUCATION & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (FM or IM)
• Active, unrestricted Alabama medical license (or ability to obtain licensure prior to start)
• Commitment to practicing value-based, patient-centered primary care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience practicing in a value-based or capitated care model
• Prior work with senior-focused or Medicare patient populations
• Interest in preventive care, population health, and chronic disease management
• Comfort working within an interdisciplinary care team
• Experience with Athena or comparable EMR systems
