Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus is seeking a faculty gynecologist to expand services in a new multidisciplinary outpatient office with an attached surgical center.

The role is ideal for a board‑certified or eligible physician with fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery or equivalent experience, who is interested in resident education and clinical care in an academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or minimally invasive surgery.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for an Ohio medical license.
• Academic appointment at assistant or associate professor level, salary commensurate with training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient office and surgical center.
• Serve as faculty for resident continuity clinics and the gynecology teaching service.
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in obstetrics and gynecology clinical duties, including minimally invasive surgery.

The role is ideal for a board‑certified or eligible physician with fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery or equivalent experience, who is interested in resident surgical education and direct patient care within an academic center.

Requirements

• Subspecialty fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or equivalent minimally invasive surgery training.
• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for a State of Ohio medical license.
• Qualified for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level, with academic rank and salary commensurate with prior training and experience.
