Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a board‑certified or eligible Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to join an expanding gynecology service at the Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.

The role merges resident education with direct patient care in an outpatient office and attached surgical center, with fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery or equivalent experience in an academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or equivalent medical degree required.
• Subspecialty fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or equivalent minimally invasive gynecologic surgery training.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for a State of Ohio medical license.
• Academic appointment at assistant or associate professor level with salary commensurate with training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient office and surgical center.
• Serve as faculty for resident continuity clinics and the gynecology teaching service.
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in obstetrics and gynecology clinical duties, including minimally invasive surgery.
