Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus is seeking a faculty gynecologist to expand services in a new multidisciplinary outpatient office with an attached surgical center.

The role is ideal for a board‑certified or eligible physician with fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery or equivalent experience, who is interested in resident education and clinical care in an academic setting.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or minimally invasive surgery.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for an Ohio medical license.
• Academic appointment at assistant or associate professor level, salary commensurate with training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient office and surgical center.
• Serve as faculty for resident continuity clinics and the gynecology teaching service.
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in obstetrics and gynecology clinical duties, including minimally invasive surgery.
