Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invites applications for a physician-surgeon in gynecology. The role includes direct patient care in an outpatient office and surgical center, with responsibility for resident education and participation in MIS procedures.

Ideal candidates are board-eligible or board-certified in OB/GYN with fellowship training in minimally invasive approaches. Appointment at the assistant or associate professor level is anticipated, with rank and salary

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
• Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or equivalent minimally invasive surgery training.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Eligible for Ohio medical license.
• Eligible for an assistant/associate professor level with salary commensurate to training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient office and surgical center.
• Serve as faculty for resident continuity clinics and the gynecology teaching service.
• Mentor and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in gynecologic surgery.
• Participate in obstetrics and gynecology clinical duties, including minimally invasive surgery.

Education

MD/DO or equivalent medical degree

Subspecialty fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or equivalent minimally invasive surgery training

Board eligibility or board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Eligible for State of Ohio medical license

Academic appointment at assistant/associate professor level with salary commensurate
