Job summary

WVU Health System seeks an OB/Gyn Laborist physician to practice in the north region of WVU Medicine.

The successful candidate will provide obstetric and gynecologic care across WVU Health System facilities in Wheeling and surrounding hospitals, with assignments at regional clinics as needed. MD or DO, OB/Gyn residency completed, and board certification or eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of an OB/Gyn Residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics/Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care as a Laborist across WVU Health System sites.
• Practice in north region locations including Wheeling area as needed.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an OBGYN Laborist Physician. Thesuccessful candidate/candidates will be expected to practice innorth region of WVU Medicine.

Duties

The successful candidate will practice in the areaof Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Laborist.

Qualifications

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license. Applicants must have completed an OB/Gyn Residency program. Applicants must have board certified or eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology. All qualifications must be met at the timeof appointment.

This group functions as a 'Regional Team' and the successfulcandidate could be expected to practice at all locations as needed: Wheeling Hospital, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Wetzel County Hospital, Barnesville Hospital, Harrison Community Hospital and all associated North Region Ambulatory clinics.

The WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) formed in 2021 and has since grown to 900 physicians and advanced practice providers.
