Job summary

Adelante Healthcare is seeking an OB/GYN physician to provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care in collaboration with a partner hospital for deliveries and surgeries.

The role requires an accredited US OB/GYN residency, medical license in AZ, DEA certificate, and strong communication and cultural competency to serve diverse patient populations. CPR/AED certification and fingerprint clearance are also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school program.
• Completion of an accredited United States Obstetrical/Gynecological Residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible.
• Valid Arizona medical license.
• DEA certificate.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques.
• Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates and the general public.
• Basic business English, spelling and punctuation skills.
• Basic computer efficiency.
• Valid AZ driver’s license.
• Commitment to Adelante Healthcare mission, vision, and values.
• Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status.
• Certification to perform CPR and AED per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of the health problems and maintenance of the women’s health by means of obstetrical care, preventive care and health promotion. Will work with partner hospital to do deliveries and surgeries.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Graduate of an accredited medical school program

NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Three (3) years of experience in community health
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
