Job summary

Adelante Healthcare in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse with OB/GYN and Pediatrics experience to educate patients, advocate for their health, and help families set preventive and self-management goals within our team-based primary care model.

This role may provide triage for urgent care needs, determine appropriate outpatient pathways, and collaborate with clinicians to coordinate care and support patient-centered, comprehensive health services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed with AZ State Board of Nursing; license in good standing.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques used in record-keeping systems.
• Demonstrated ability in implementing the principles and practices of supervision.
• Advanced computer efficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience in Patient Management System.
• Meet the organization immunization requirement.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Certification to perform CPR and AED per guidelines from AHA and Red Cross.
• Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Position Summary

Successful candidate should have experience in OB/GYN and Pediatrics. This Registered Nurse functions to assist all patients and their families through the healthcare system by acting as a health educator and patient advocate. They will also work with patients to develop preventive and self-management goals to improve their health. Additionally, this nurse position may provide triage services to patients calling for urgent care needs to provide medical advice and identify if outpatient services are appropriate or if they should be escalated to a higher level of care. This position is essential to Adelante’s team-based primary care medical home model of care that supports coordinated, patient-centered, comprehensive health care to all.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Licensed with AZ State Board of nursing; license in good standing
