Description:This position involves 24-hour call coverage in obstetrics and gynecology.The physician will perform emergency surgeries and gynecologic and obstetric triage evaluations.Responsibilities include labor delivery management, recovery, and postpartum care.The practice setting is primarily inpatient and hospital-based.The average number of patients per day ranges from 0 to 12.Call coverage includes in-house, beeper/phone call, and messaging systems.The approximate call return hours vary from 0 to 15 hours.Candidates must provide required documentation for credentialing.Travel reimbursements for lodging, rental car, mileage, and airfare may be available.
