Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology physician for locum tenens support in the Alexandria area. The role includes outpatient and inpatient care, with Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

shifts and no call responsibilities. Candidates must handle low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, and deliveries as needed. The ideal candidate is board-certified in OB/GYN, holds a WA or IMLC license, and is proficient with EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Licensed OB/GYN physician with current licensure or equivalent.
• Board certification in obstetrics/gynecology.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, No Call.
• Care for low and high risk pregnancies in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Perform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) and assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean decisions.
• Coordinate patient care with the broader medical team and follow credentialing timelines.
