Description:This position requires a physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology.The physician will cover inpatient call only.The schedule consists of 24-hour beeper call during weekdays and weekends.Shifts provide coverage for 3 to 18 days per month.The average number of patient encounters per shift is 3.There are 10 beds in the department.The facility operates under trauma level 3.Core responsibilities include managing both low and high-risk pregnancies.Additional responsibilities include performing routine deliveries, managing complicated deliveries, and decision‑making for cesarean sections.There may be a requirement for surgical gynecology procedures.The facility is supported by a robust care team, including nurse supervisors and other clinical staff.The organization is currently enhancing its backup call setup for improved coverage.
