Job description

Well-respected and highly reviewed practice is seeking a BC/BE Neurologist to join the team. Specialty training is welcome.

1. The practice currently has 2 Neurologists and 1 NP, with plans to add another Neurologist, 2 Psychiatrists, an Endocrinologist, Rheumatologist, and Pediatric Neurologist.
2. The practice has 200 referring physicians and is affiliated with 2 major health systems, including 1 hospital interested in supporting the practice.
3. Newly established office with certified and experienced staff members.
4. Fully equipped with EEG, EMG, and VNG machines.
5. Practice is 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient, with flexible scheduling.
6. Teaching opportunities available for medical students and residents.
7. Create your ideal role; leadership opportunities are available.
8. Hospital coverage is limited to one hospital.
9. Call coverage includes 5 calls per month plus one weekend call, with compensation for calls.
10. Typically 1 to 3 consults per call, exclusively consults; no admissions or primary patient care.
11. General neurology cases with a wide variety and complexity.
12. Procedures include EEG (using NATUS machine, with remote reading options), EMG/NCS (Cadwell machine, with a certified tech experienced in NCS for 6-7 years).
