Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas in Pinehurst, NC seeks a Neurohospitalist to join our inpatient neuroscience program at Moore Regional Hospital. This dedicated role offers a firm day shift from 8 AM to 6 PM with no night coverage, and a stable, team-based work environment.

You will work with an established team including intensivists, hospitalists, neurosurgery and subspecialty support, using Epic EMR and contributing to our nationally recognized stroke program.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved Neurology residency and board certification are required.
• Completion of vascular neurology or neurocritical fellowship is optional.
• Must have clean background, ability to get NC licensure and NC DEA.
• AHA ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated inpatient Neurohospitalist role.
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, neurosurgery and subspecialists.
• Provide care within an established inpatient neuroscience program using Epic EMR.
• Contribute to a nationally recognized stroke program and center-based care.

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a Neurohospitalist to join our established inpatient neuroscience program at our flagship campus and certified stroke center, Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality, team-based neurology in a well-resourced, community-focused hospital environment. About the Opportunity:

• Dedicated inpatient Neurohospitalist role.
• Desirable block schedule with 45 day shifts per quarter.
• 8 AM - 6 PM in-house presence. No nights!
• Two Neurohospitalists on service most shift s, collegial environment.
• Established intensivist, hospitalist, neurosurgery, and specialty support.
• Epic EMR system throughout the health system.
• Integrated healthcare system with advanced diagnostics and subspecialty access.
