Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a hospitalist to join its outpatient inpatient team at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. This role supports a 7 on/7 off block schedule with a large, well-established inpatient service and a collaborative group of physicians.

Qualifications

• Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved Internal Medicine residency and board certification.
• Clean background; ability to obtain NC licensure and NC DEA.
• ACLS certification required.
• Superior clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a high acuity Hospitalist program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient hospitalist care at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve patient outcomes.

• Practice at our flagship campus, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, a 402-bed acute care regional referral center in Pinehurst, NC.

• Join a stable, established in-house Hospitalist program with a strong core group of physicians, excellent retention, and a collegial team environment.

• Dedicated Nocturnists provide nighttime coverage.

• Collaborative inpatient services include Hospital Medicine, Critical Care/Intensivists, Neurology, Pediatrics, and Geriatrics.

• Easy access to a broad range of specialty and subspecialty support, including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Pulmonary Medicine, Neurology, and more.
