Job summary

WVU Health System is seeking a nephrologist to provide care within the Medical Group and collaborate with physicians, APPs, and the WVU faculty practice plan.

The role includes practicing at regional locations across West Virginia and the region, delivering advanced specialty nephrology care and helping shape the future of nephrology services.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Nephrology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Excellent interpersonal, diagnostic, and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nephrology care within WVU Health System Medical Group.
• Practice across regional locations as needed, including Wheeling Hospital and other regional facilities.
• Deliver advanced specialty care in collaboration with physicians, APPs, and the WVU faculty practice plan.
• Help shape nephrology care across West Virginia and the region.

• Help shape nephrology care across West Virginia and the region

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Eligible to obtain a state medical license

• Completed an ACGME-accredited Nephrology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology

• Willingness to practice at regional team locations as needed
