Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency program.
  • Completion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship.

  • Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
  • Commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient nephrology care.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions.
  • Manage patients requiring dialysis and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in teaching and clinical education for medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and academic initiatives as appropriate.
