SUMO Medical Staffing, LLC in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Physician Recruiter to source, engage, and place Physicians, NPs, PAs, and CRNAs in locum tenens and permanent roles nationwide. This role blends consultative sales with relationship building in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple searches, navigating candidate needs and market dynamics, and contributing to staffing projections with leadership, all while enjoying a strong base salary

Qualifications

• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates from diverse medical backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in outbound recruiting and candidate re-engagement strategies.
• Strong communication skills across phone, email and virtual platforms.
• Comfort with analytics, market dynamics, and credentialing basics.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit Physicians, NPs, PAs, and CRNAs for locum tenens and permanent roles nationwide.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and outbound campaigns.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates to meet client demand.
• Screen candidates for experience, licensure, certifications, malpractice history, and credentialing requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with active candidates to support engagement and redeployment.
• Partner with account managers to align candidate delivery with client needs.
• Manage documentation and candidate notes in Salesforce to ensure visibility.
• Support credentialing, compliance, contracts, and scheduling as needed.
• Analyze market trends to refine recruitment strategies and contribute to staffing projections.
