Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers in Mount Pocono, PA is seeking a Part-Time Medical Director to lead clinical assessment, treatment planning, and medication management across our Pennsylvania network.

The physician will collaborate with the Executive Director, Nursing Director, and Clinical Director to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care and continuity of services for patients with addiction treatment needs. PA licensure and BE/BC in relevant specialties are required.

Qualifications

• BE or BC in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Addiction Medicine.
• Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania (or ability to obtain).
• MD and DO welcome to apply.
• Must have Medicaid number or be Medicaid eligible.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive medical assessment.
• Aid in training for the Nursing staff.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and annually reviewing written medical procedures.
• Assist with the planning of medical services across assigned locations.
• Ensure that medical staffing patterns are adequate, and patients receive full continuum of care by coordinating care with other patient care providers.
• Assist with the planning of medical services across assigned locations.

As a Physician/Medical Director you will be primarily responsible for assessing, creating treatment plans, and adjusting medications, etc. of patients. You will work with several partners (Executive Director, Director of Nursing, Clinical Director) within the organization to ensure patients receive the best care in our network.
