Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) per diem to join our team. You will administer medications, support the treatment plan, and promote a safe recovery environment for residents under supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an LPN license in the relevant state and can work independently. You will participate in ongoing staff training and patient education as part of a comprehensive care program.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license in the state of employment.
• Comfortable working independently with residents.
• Complies with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer/dispense medication under physician direction.
• Ensure adherence to the physician/Medical Director's treatment plan.
• Perform Mantoux testing and blood draws.
• Train staff on health and safety and maintain medical equipment.
• Provide staff development and CPR/First Aid training.
• Educate clients about methadone maintenance, detoxification, and lab results.
• Educate pregnant patients on prenatal care and coordinate outside services as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

As an LPN, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state seeking employment


• Comfortable working independently with the population when needed


• Compliance with MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) program protocols

Responsibilities

• Administer/dispense medication under direction of physician


• Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is being followed


• Giving and interpreting Mantoux Testing


• Complete blood draws


• Assists in training staff in medical and health and safety matters as well as assisting in properly maintaining medical equipment.


• Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e., CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure.


• Educates clients about methadone maintenance and detoxification as well as side effects and provides education to clients on lab results and all medical matters.


• Educates pregnant patients about prenatal care and assists primary counselor in coordinating outside services as needed.


• Other duties as needed.
