What You’ll Do

• Develop individualized patient treatment plans consistent with institutional protocols and evidence-based oncology practices
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with lymphoma and related hematologic malignancies across the continuum of treatment
• Coordinate diagnostic testing, treatment planning, disease monitoring, and modifications to care plans as clinically indicated
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, disease progression, and supportive care needs
• Participate in the advancement of innovative therapeutic approaches for hematologic malignancies and investigational treatment strategies
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across hematologic oncology, bone marrow transplantation, infectious diseases, pulmonary medicine, pathology, radiation oncology, and supportive care services
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcomes development, and patient-centered care strategies
• Participate in resident, fellow, medical student, and trainee education through lectures, mentorship, and clinical teaching
• Support the academic mission through committee participation, scholarly engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with institutional and regulatory standards
• Foster a culture of collaboration, compassion, scientific excellence, and continuous improvement aligned with High Reliability Organization principles

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License or Certification Requirement

1. License to practice as a Medical Doctor in the State of New York.
2. Possession of or eligibility for a valid medical specialty certificate in Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
3. Medical Doctor degree and prior full-time experience in the field of Medical Oncology or a specialty of Hematologic Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplantation, Solid Tumor/Investigational Therapeutics, Pulmonary Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.

Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
