West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek Interventional Cardiologists to practice in Wheeling, West Virginia. Candidates may be assigned to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, with travel anticipated as needed.

The successful candidate will practice general and interventional cardiology and will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an interventional cardiology fellowship program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Additional Job Description

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart andVascular Institute seek Interventional Cardiologists (ranksavailable: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidates will be expected to practice in Wheeling,West Virginia.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also beassigned to provide services at additional worksites in WestVirginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travelwould be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at theseadditional sites.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas ofgeneral and interventional cardiology. In addition to providingexcellent patient care, the successful candidate will also beactively involved in teaching medical students, residents, andfellows.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreignequivalent and be eligible for a state license. Successfulcandidate must have competed an interventional cardiologyfellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified /eligible in Interventional Cardiology. All qualifications must bemet by the time of appointment.
