WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seeks a Non-invasive Cardiologist (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The successful candidate will provide expertise in general and interventional cardiology, participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to patient care in a collaborative academic environment.

Additional Job Description:

West Virginia University School of Medicine and theWVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek a Non-invasive Cardiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidates will be expected to practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.

Duties:

The successful candidate will practice in the areas of general and interventional cardiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed a cardiology fellowship program. Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Cardiology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
