Position Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute are seeking Interventional Cardiologists at ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The successful candidate will practice primarily in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Additional Worksites

Depending on operational needs, the candidate may also provide services at other sites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, requiring travel.

Job Duties

1. Practice in general and interventional cardiology.
2. Provide excellent patient care.
3. Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an interventional cardiology fellowship.
• Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
