Intermountain Health is seeking an Internal Medicine physician in Billings, MT, to join a collaborative practice of 11 providers. You will work 4 ten-hour shifts, with a 1:9 telephone-based call schedule and no weekend work, focusing on 100% outpatient care.

You will see complex cases, have mentorship opportunities, and contribute to program growth while benefiting from a strong support staff and onsite resources.

About this role

As a Physician in our Internal Medicine practice, you’ll work collaboratively with 10 additional providers to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with in-house care coordinators, in-house pharmacy, and behavioral health. You'll have excellent support staff and onsite resources readily available. You typically work four 10-hour shifts during the week, no weekends. Your call schedule is 1:9 and it is telephone-only. You will be able to practice 100% outpatient and will practice at our Internal Medicine clinic in Billings, MT. You’ll see complex cases and really have the opportunity to sink your teeth into your craft as an Internal Medicine clinician. You will work in a busy practice that has supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff. You’ll be part of an established practice that is continuing to grow. You’ll have excellent opportunities for mentorship, leadership roles, program expansion, professional growth, and plenty of program support. Our St. Vincent hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a Certified Stroke Center, and an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.

Competitive Compensation

• $337,000 plus the potential to earn more with a production incentive.
• Quality Incentive: up to $15,000.
• Incentives: $25,000 starting bonus, up to $20,000 relocation bonus (if applicable), and up to $100,000 student loan repayment bonus (if applicable). We’re also PSLF eligible!

What you’ll bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• Residency trained in Internal Medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal medicine.
• Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
• Passion for Internal Medicine.
• 1 to 3 years experience as a Internist is preferred.
• 100% outpatient.
