Job summary

Intermountain Health Medical Group in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Physician in Senior Primary Care to join a team delivering high-quality care and an excellent patient experience. You’ll care for wellness checks, chronic disease, diagnostics and immunizations with about 16 patients per day.

You’ll work a 4x10 hr or 5x8 hr week, with no on-call duties, at the Nellis Clinic, using EPIC EHR. Requires MD/DO, Internal Medicine residency, board eligibility, and Nevada license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical school.
• Internal Medicine residency training.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• 2+ years of experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Active Nevada medical license or ability to obtain one; DEA license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Have more time with senior primary care patients during 30-minute encounter times.
• Care for patients on a 4x10 hr day or 5x8 hr week; no on-call duties.
• Practice at Nellis Clinic in Las Vegas, NV.
• Use EPIC – our organization-wide Electronic Health Record.

About This Role

As a Physician in Senior Primary Care within our Intermountain Health (Las Vegas Area) Medical Group, you will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will approximately 16 patients per day for annual wellness checks, identification and treatment of chronic conditions, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and immunizations.

• Have more time with your senior primary care patients during 30‑minute encounter times
• Provide care to our patients during either a 4 x 10hr day or 5 x 8hr day workweek. (No On-Call responsibilities)
• You will practice at Nellis Clinic in Las Vegas, NV
• Use EPIC – our organization wide state-of-the‑art Electronic Health Record

What You’ll Bring

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training Internal Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
• 2+ Years Experience preferred, New Graduates will be considered.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
