The Nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. They utilize the nursing process, assess patient needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

1. Meets competencies related to self-leadership and team leadership.
2. Requires a BSN (preferred), 1+ year of experience in a related specialty, and an active RN license with BLS certification.
3. Perioperative experience and certifications like PALS, ACLS, and NRP are preferred or required within specified grace periods.
4. Newly hired nurses undergo orientation, preceptorship, and competency validation.
5. Work schedule is four 10-hour days, full-time.
