Job Overview

As a Physician - Hospitalist, you will be an integral part of our hospital's medical team, responsible for the comprehensive care and management of patients during their hospital stay. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and recovery of our patients.

What You Will Do
  1. Provide high-quality, evidence-based medical care to hospitalized patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  3. Monitor and manage patient conditions, adjusting treatments as needed.
  4. Perform procedures such as central line placement, intubation, and lumbar punctures.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records, including notes, orders, and summaries.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients and families about diagnoses and care plans.
  7. Participate in rounds, case conferences, and team meetings.
  8. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with medical practices.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD) required.
  • Current Illinois medical license required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range from $244,465 to $381,183, based on experience.
  • Two-year guarantee period.
