Position Overview: Be part of a world-class health system while providing patient-centered care at an award-winning, rural community hospital. Team and Responsibilities: The service team includes 2 full-time physicians and 4 APPs (CRNPs/PAs) providing inpatient care in collaboration with ER, specialists, and primary care physicians. The typical patient load ranges from 8 to 18 adult inpatients per day, from admission through discharge. Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, with 12-hour shifts. Nights are covered by APPs and UPMC telemedicine. There are no call responsibilities, no OB or peds, no procedures, and no ICU duties.

Hospital Details: UPMC Bedford is a 40-bed community hospital offering medical, surgical, cardiac, telemetry, diagnostic, treatment, and rehab services. The medical staff is supported by specialists providing inpatient and telemedicine consults. Location: UPMC Bedford, 10455 Lincoln Hwy, Everett, PA 15537. Optional internal moonlighting at UPMC Altoona is available.

Qualifications and Licensure: Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Must qualify for a medical license in Pennsylvania. J1 and H1B visa sponsorships are welcome.
