Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ seeks a board-certified or board-qualified Podiatrist to join its Orthopaedic and Podiatric Surgery Division. The ideal candidate will manage complex foot and ankle pathology, wound care, diabetic limb salvage, and forefoot/rearfoot surgery.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at South Jersey’s only Level I Trauma Center, collaborating with orthopaedic surgeons, vascular specialists, and wound care teams in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school of podiatric medicine.
  • Completion of a CPME-accredited podiatric residency (minimum 3 years).
  • New Jersey medical license (or eligibility).
  • Board certified or eligible by ABPM or ABFAS.
  • Experience with hospital-based wound care or limb preservation is a plus.
  • Commitment to collaborative care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive foot and ankle care in outpatient and inpatient settings, including surgery when indicated.
  • Participate in diabetic foot management, wound care, and limb salvage initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with orthopaedics, endocrinology, infectious disease, and wound care teams.
  • Provide clinical education to medical trainees and APPs.
  • Participate in podiatric call coverage and quality initiatives within the department.

Short Description
