Short Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateFamily Practice Physicianto join our Cooper Care Alliance team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on prevention, wellness, and the management of chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating referrals.
• Promote preventive care and health education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Education Requirements

Medical Degree (MD or DO)from an accredited institution.

Experience Required

Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

• Board Certification or Board Eligibilityin Family Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical licensein the state of NJ.
• DEA licenseand current BLS/ACLS certification.

Special Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing culturally competent and equitable care.
• Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic).
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Interest in population health, quality improvement, or teaching.
