Summary
This position is located at various Indian Health Service Hospitals or Clinics under the Navajo Area Office. The primary purpose is to serve as a technical expert in Family Practice, providing diagnosis, care, and treatment for patients of all ages.

Conditions of Employment include probationary period, U.S. citizenship, selective service registration (for males born after 12/31/1959), background checks, immunizations, on-call hours, and direct deposit setup. The position also requires passing E-Verify and a background investigation.
Applicants must have relevant experience and/or education, including volunteer work. Specific educational and licensure requirements are detailed, including a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school, valid medical license, and appropriate postgraduate training.
For GS-13, three years of graduate training or equivalent experience in Family Medicine is required. Active board certification or active pursuit thereof is also necessary.
