Odyssey Locums is seeking a physician for a premium emergency medicine locum tenens assignment in Mexia, TX. You will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a dedicated team and navigating streamlined credentialing.

The role offers top-of-market pay, 24/7 recruiter support, paid housing and travel, tail malpractice coverage, and a referral bonus program. Assignment runs for two days with credentialing completed quickly.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with active Texas medical license.
• ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required/preferred.
• Credentialing timeframe of 2 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate with RNs and support staff to maintain patient flow and safety.
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.

• Patient encounters per shift: 20
• Beds in department: 10
• Support Staff: 2 RNs
• Certification Requirements: Board Certified, Active TX License, ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, & PALS.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 days
