Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking an Emergency Medicine clinician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The role offers flexible scheduling, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, or 7p-7a shifts with weekends required, no call, and 20-24 patient encounters per shift in a 26-bed department using Cerner EMR with NP/PA support.

ACLS, BLS, PALS and NRP are required. Credentialing is streamlined and provided with responsive recruiter and credentialing specialist support.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in emergency medicine settings preferred.
• Credentialing processes should be streamlined.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine services in a high-volume setting.
• Manage 20–24 patient encounters per shift with a 26-bed department.
• Collaborate with NP/PA support and adhere to Cerner EMR workflows.
• Maintain ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP standards and commit to ongoing credentialing.

• Assignment duration: Ongoing
• Shift Type: 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 7p-7a. Weekends required. No Call.
