Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking Emergency Medicine providers for a 98-day locum assignment in Ada, OK (and Ardmore, OK). Shifts include 6a-6p, 11a-11p (AP), 12p-12a, and 6p-6a, with 8, 10, or 12-hour options. Expect central lines, intubations, and ~20–25 patient encounters per shift.

Qualifications

• Active OK license or IMLC.
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
• ACLS and BLS; PALS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care with procedures including central lines and intubations.
• Handle approximately 20–25 patient encounters per shift.
• Work with a team of 6 RNs, 1–2 NPs/PAs, 3 MAs and 2 office staff.
• Credentials processed within ~90 days.

The Role:

• Location: Ada, OK; Ardmore, OK
• Assignment duration: 98 days (through 1/29/2027)
• Shift Type: 6a-6p, 11a-11p (AP), 12p-12a, 6p-6a. Shifts may be 8, 10, or 12 hours. Nights, weekends, and holidays are the primary need.
• Cases: Typical Emergency Medicine procedures including central lines and intubations.
• Patient encounters per shift: 20-25.
• Site Charting System: Epic.
• Support Staff: 6 RNs, 1-2 NP/PAs, 3 MAs, 2 Office Staff
• Certification Requirements: Active OK License or IMLC, Board Certified Emergency Medicine, ACLS, BLS, & PALS
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
