Description:We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine APP to join our team.This position has been created due to the need for additional APP support.Candidates should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine.An orientation day and shadow shift will be part of the onboarding process.Candidates must demonstrate clinical competency, including emergency medicine experience.A case log showing at least 50 patient contacts and/or 1000 hours in emergency medicine within the past 12 months is required.The emergency department contains 40 bays with an average of 1.8 patients per hour.The staffing model includes 10-11 providers in a 24-hour period.Support staff will include a normal emergency room staffing ratio of 1 nurse for every 4 patients.The ED admission rate is approximately 15%.We welcome applicants who meet these requirements.
